Here are the entries for the May/June challenge, which was "Silver". Just that - whatever you could come up with. There were over 80 participants, and I can't believe how many beautiful beads were made. How much creativity there is. The winner was determined by a drawing, not a selection of the "nicest" beads. This month prize was sponsored by Sundance Artglass: a shopping "spree" (is that what you call it?) of a $ 100 value. Even if you might not be the winner, you might browse their website and start with a list with things you need...(after all, this whole idea of sponsoring a challenge is that it's advertising for the company - and there is absolutely nothing wrong with that, right?!) Thanks to Brian of Sundance for the generous contribution!! (and click on the logo for the link) The entries are sorted by last name - and some of the beads shown here will be featured (with descriptions) in the upcoming Spotlight on silver. Want to know how something was done? let me know and I will see whether the artist might we willing to share. Again, thanks everybody for participating, and keep your eyes open for the Summer challenge! |
